Dr. Polhemus received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University in 1984. He attended dental school at the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry in Chapel Hill, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1988. Dr. Polhemus opened his practice in 1988 providing comprehensive cosmetic, reconstructive and preventive family dental care.

Dr. Polhemus is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society. He was on the board of directors that set up the Wake Smiles program, a clinic that provides dental care for the underprivileged.

Dr. Polhemus especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry and continuously updates his skills and knowledge. Please do not hesitate to ask for a cosmetic evaluation or to see his before and after photos.

Dr. Polhemus lives in North Raleigh. During his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing and traveling.
